EUNGYUNG – "I have always been a foreigner"

Eungyung is a Korean woman who was born in New York and moved to Finland some years ago. In this portrait Eungyung tells about her identity and her life in different countries. Video has been shot in the same place during four Finnish seasons; winter, spring, summer and autumn. The video image is still-like and the movement in the video happens mainly in the story and in the change of seasons.

"People dont wear these traditional dresses anymore in Korea, except for special days like parties and big holidays. My mother always bought me a yellow top - usually the bottom is red for kids. Every year I got red skirts and yellow tops. My mother said I look good in yellow because her mother told her she looked good in yellow. "
